Hello Mickey Clan:
This is Max from HeiseRun trying to answer in good speed.
It was an interesting letter I got yesterday from all of you Mickey's
A lot of sorrow Re our recent losses and a lot of joy to know the clan is being replenished by some wonderful little ones.
Best wishes to the newlyweds, to the new parents, and comfort to all that mourn.
We have fond memories of all the clan.
Here in PA, Fall is falling, the flowers were the best we've seen in years. The game around the farm is thriving. I've spent a lot of time observing the wild turkeys, deer, etc.
Alice and I enjoyed the reunion in Mass., a trip to see friends in Idaho, and a visit in Ohio for Alice's 50th class reunion.
Ann's kids are doing well. Maxie (9) is playing football. Hannah is a good student and a social butterfly.
John and his family are doing well. We're going down to Mt. Vernon where he lives mid Oct.
Judy is going great in her new job selling furniture, drapes, etc. She does whole offices (Drs, Lawyers, etc.) Andy quit school. We're sorry about that.
Happy BD to Bru, we're glad to see the pictures.
I'm glad to see Troy Aikman doing nice things for nice people. There is still some dignity and honor left in the professional athletes ranks (but it's rare!).
Going back to AZ. Right after election in Nov.
Alice is still doing art and I'm still playing with Wolford (mom's side) genealogy.

Folks,
On May 19, the Mickey clan (40+), met in H'Burg area for a celebration of Uncle Wes life. He died about two months ago. We had a grand lunch at Holiday Inn, Grantville, about a mile from the Penn National RaceTrack. Uncle Wes had racehorses for many years. We went to the track in the evening to see the races while having dinner at the track. Uncle Wes' son Joe trains a horse that belongs to Aunt Betsy, Uncle Wes' Widow. Joe Mickey, their son is the trainer of their horse Baderascanbe. We watched 9 races. In the 9the race, Baderascanbe was entered. We all bet on her in honor of Uncle Wes. SHE WON BY A NOSE!! The end of a perfect time of remembrance of a wonderful member of the Mickey Clan.
