Dear Family,

I have to echo the common theme throughout these letters; it's been a year of many ups and downs for this family. For those who have passed, they will be sorely missed! Hopefully, this coming year will bring more joy than sadness.

Amidst all of that, it has been a busy year. Uncle Bru's party was definitely the highlight. It was wonderful to see all the family and I enjoyed the time spent with everyone. Beth and I had quite a whirlwind of a weekend in Phoenix. So much to see and do and not a whole lot of time to do it. However, we made the best of it. I definitely want to go back to Arizona and explore more of the sites. It is beautiful country. I took a lot of pictures and will probably have some enlarged and framed.

Over the past year I have gotten to know Amy Mickey, Bruce's oldest daughter. Aunt Jeanne played a hand in getting us together. As it turned out, Amy only lived a mile or so away. We got together one evening and shared family pictures. It is amazing some of the family resemblance!

Work is as busy as ever! As I mentioned in my last letter, trying to keep up with all of the changes with insurance companies keeps me on my toes. There is never a dull moment and it is definitely not boring. Our hospital is currently preparing for the routine visit from JCAHO, the organization that does the accreditation for hospitals. Once again, it will prove to be a very busy time.

I am looking forward to the reunion in 2001. It will be nice to see everyone again. Well, I need to send the Robin off to Aunt Barb. I look forward to it returning to my house next year!

Lisa
