Dear Farnily:

Greetings from Shaun, Jen and Kamryn! As I look at the pictures of Kamryn I included in the last letter, it seems she is growing too fast ... everyone always says that, I guess you just don't realize it until it's your own baby! I hope you all enjoy these more recent pictures I'm including. We are blessed with a wonderful little girl and enjoy every second with her (as does her Great Grandparents, Skip and Trudy, aka Poppy and GG). In fact "GG" has become a household word, including a common phrase from Kamryn who is just starting to talk. I think GG had a hand in teaching her to say that one! It's such a pleasure watching our baby grow into a "little girl!"

Sad but true, we will be relocating this summer back to Vermont, despite resistance from "GG and Poppy." I was selected for a promotion with INS in Vermont where the hours and work will be a welcome change for me. Although I did a job change just recently in January, I look forward to the challenge this next one is expected to bring. Things have been very busy in the job world for me lately and we've had to make some tough decisions about relocating. However I think this is a good thing both career wise and for Kamryn's sake. The quality of life to bring a child up in sure seems to be better in Vermont and I will have an option to work at home, which is an added bonus. Plus her grandparents (I know her Grandpa is anxious to introduce her to his Harley!!!) and aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides of the family will all be nearby so she will have the opportunity to grow up knowing them and they the chance to watch her grow. It's an exciting time and we will begin breaking ground on a new house in the very near future. The next time we encounter Robin, we should be all settled in new jobs, new location and a brand new home!

I am now the Public Affairs Specialist for INS in Philadelphia and am enjoying that job. It's not easy dealing with the media and being in the spotlight with unfavorable coverage of the agency all too often, but it's been an exciting and challenging position. I have mixed feelings about leaving since it is enjoyable, but we decided to take the opportunity to relocate back to Vermont while it was available, rather than wait. Shaun is still thoroughly enjoying his management position with U.S. Office Products and also has mixed feelings about leaving the company he has spent so many years with. But he also looks forward to the change and is confident that the job market is favorable. Time will tell ...

That is our lives lately in a nutshell. Life flies by with a sixteen month old - but what a fun and amazing time - she's such a little sponge, learning all she can about the world! She has a dance recital coming up later this month, which should be highly entertaining! We will soon be back in "ski country" so if anyone is up that way, please let us know!

Have a wonderful year, and may God bless us all!

Love
Jen, Shawn, and Kamryn
